Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 is a compact localization device equipped with both Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology. This tracker enables precise positioning of objects through integration with the SmartThings app on compatible smart devices. The device has an IP67 rating, meaning it is dust-tight and can withstand immersion in water up to one meter deep for 30 minutes. The product is designed to be attached to keys, bags, vehicles, or pet collars for rapid identification and searching.

The device is powered by a replaceable CR2032 battery providing an operating time of up to 500 days under standard use or up to 700 days in power saving mode. With the Compass View feature, the user can see the exact direction and distance to the tag directly on the mobile screen. Built-in NFC technology allows owner information to be stored on the device, which can then be read by a smartphone upon contact. The tag also functions in the reverse direction via a physical button that can activate an acoustic signal on the connected phone to locate it. The Bluetooth range is up to 120 meters under clear line-of-sight conditions without obstacles. The construction includes an integrated metal ring for mechanical mounting directly onto accessories without additional holders.
