Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 is a tracking device engineered for precise localisation of personal belongings via UWB and Bluetooth technology. The unit integrates with the SmartThings app and enables the positioning of objects such as keys and bags. It features an IP67 rating, which ensures dust-tightness and resistance to immersion in water up to 1 meter deep. The product is designed for users who require reliable tracking across various environments.

The device is powered by a replaceable CR2032 battery, providing up to 500 days of operation in normal use and 700 days in power-saving mode. Through Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology, the user can utilise Compass View for exact navigation with direction and distance indications on compatible smartphones. For devices without UWB support, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) is used for positioning at distances up to 120 meters. SmartTag2 features a built-in button that can be used for two-way searching of a paired phone or to control preset IoT devices in the home. NFC compatibility allows finders to scan the tag to display the owner's contact information via Lost Mode. The circular design, with a metal-reinforced attachment point, facilitates direct mounting to carabiners or straps without additional accessories.
