Coming from the XM1 v2, I find this one to be totally worth it. - the Kailh GM4.0 switches ... my goodness the switches feel fantastic. they are stiffer, clickier and louder then the Omrons in the v1 and v2. - the middle mouse button is lees hard to actuate. it feels a bit weird though, like it's got a membrane at the bottom. - far less hollow sound on pounded clicks/tapping and when repositioning the mouse on the (hard) pad. - the cable is a bit looser and therefore flexible. - the scroll wheel feels exactly the same. - the skates give the mouse a smoother glide with more control on my (hard) pad. - the side buttons feel better then my v2, less mushy and without creaking. - the coating is a tidbit more grainy then my v2. my hand finally doesn't slip around on the mouse anymore. - the RBG looks good, I've set it to static red. - the 10g added weight feel surpisingly good (better!?) in my hand. - the RGB produces a little bit of heat in the mouse. my dry hands will probably love that in the winter.
