The wheel base is designed to translate every subtle nuance of the track to the user's hands.The Ares Platinum wheel base is equipped with a 23-bit optical encoder and a custom skewed direct drive motor, providing an accuracy of less than 0.01° and eliminating many of the errors common in magnetic systems. It offers rapid feedback with torque peak speeds of up to 9.5 Nm/ms and less than 2.3% ripple torque for a seamless strength feel.
The wheel base is built with aircraft-grade aluminum and uses magnetic POGO connectors for easy future expansion. Real-time thermal monitoring ensures that the unit performs optimally during extended gaming sessions.
