Baby Kangaroo V2, also known as Baby Kangaroo 2.0, is a tactile switch from Gateron, specially designed for mechanical keyboards and enthusiasts who desire an accurate and responsive typing experience. The new model offers a tactile peak at 0.5 mm, providing an early and clear feel compared to traditional switches. With an actuation force of 59 ± 8 gf and a total travel distance of 3.4 mm, the V2 is built for high durability and comfort.

It is constructed with an upper housing made of transparent polycarbonate (PC) and a bottom of nylon PA66, ensuring good light distribution and durability. The POM stem contributes to a smooth and sturdy feel. The pin has been upgraded to a 3.0-pin design with a chunky three-layer structure to reduce the risk of bending. A factory-prepped lubrication reduces spring noise and provides a pleasant typing experience. The switch's LED support is SMD RGB compatible, making the lighting even and strong.
